Tonight, the Costume Institute’s latest exhibition, Punk: Chaos to Couture, opens at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. An image from David Sims‘ March 2011 US Vogue spread, Punk’d, with Arizona Muse is the event’s representative banner. Now visible throughout the Upper East Side, the exhibition and banner will be on display until August 14, 2013.

Today, after 30 years on the throne, Queen Beatrix of The Netherlands abdicates the throne to her son, Prince Willem-Alexander. The newly-appointed King is joined by his wife, Princess Maxima, as Queen. Back in 2003, they had a sittings portrait by our Mario Testino.
On Monday, April 8, 2013, the “Iron Lady” of British politics, Margaret Thatcher, died at the age of 87. At times a divisive figure, Mrs. Thatcher was the first woman to become Prime Minister of Britain. Art Partner looks back to 2008, when Mario Testino had the honor of photographing Mrs. Thatcher for British Vogue.
The new film, Oz The Great and Powerful, will be out in theaters in March 2013. Art Partner takes a look at some of the big stars in the movie, including Mila Kunis, James Franco, Rachel Weisz, and Michelle Williams.
