Since early 2018, Ferdinando Verderi has worked closely with Donatella Versace on the brand’s global repositioning, marking a new chapter for the house that has ushered the brand back to the forefront of the fashion landscape.
As part of his creative vision and ongoing collaboration with Donatella, Verderi has been responsible for the ideation of the latest three campaigns photographed by Steven Meisel, which have leveraged Versace’s visual codes through fresh and unexpected messages for the luxury heritage brand.
Working across Versace’s entire brand world, Verderi’s creative includes global campaigns for fashion, eyewear, and accessories, experiential creative direction for runway shows, as well as creative and film direction for the fragrance licensee business. Notably, Verderi has created more than 40 handmade logos and directed a series of videos that have brought new voice to the brand in the digital sphere.
Most recently, Verderi developed a capsule collection for the relaunch of Versace Jeans Couture, which debuts a collection of graphic t-shirts with images Verderi creative directed and photographed.
